A LOOK BACK ON 2017
although 2017 felt like quite the fever dream, I managed to accomplish & experience a few great things.
in january, I started the year off with a new year’s kiss. I said goodbye to one of my best friends that went to study abroad in ecuador for over 2 months. towards the end of the month, I discovered one of my favorite restaurants that had the best damn marghertia pizza in seattle (shoutout to serious pie)!
in february, I celebrated valentine’s day with my love and also celebrated my best friend’s 21st birthday (a day we have dreamt of for years & years).
in march, I finally turned 21, got my first straight A college quarter ever, managed to get on the dean’s list, and went to the top of columbia tower for the first time.
in april, I attended vegfest seattle, got a new car (a black vw tiguan named olive!), and found out my ancestry dna results.
in may, I visited hotcakes too many times, celebrated the best mother’s day yet, and successfully took cute photobooth pictures with my boyfriend (finally)!
in june, I celebrated my boyfriend’s 21st birthday, had the best vegan ice cream (w/ gluten free cone!) at frankie & jo’s, made it on the dean's list again, and took my boyfriend to see one of his favorite bands.
in july, I had an amazing talk with my friend about self love, I quit my job (which was one of the hardest things I ever had to experience), and visited my grandparents for the first time in 2017.
in august, I finished summer quarter (made it on the dean’s list again!), traveled to los angeles with my friends, then went to nyc the following week with my dad.
in september, I took my mom to frankie & jo’s for some delicious vegan ice cream, got a new job, and did not miss a single seahawks game.
in october, I attended the protest of betsy devos in downtown bellevue, went to a seahawks game, quit the previous job and got another new job. I also supported my brother & dad at their business convention, and celebrated my two year anniversary with my boyfriend as well.
in november, I went to the auto show in seattle with my dad and my boyfriend, said goodbye to one of my friends who moved to portland, went to another seahawks game, and had the best thanksgiving in my life (so far)!
in december, I created my first video project, made it onto the dean’s list for the 4th quarter in a row (!!), and had the best christmas in my life. even though I did not attend an extravagant new year’s eve party, I am glad I was able to spend the last day of the year eating my favorite pizza and drinking my favorite champagne with the one I love.
